The major trends in the online gambling industry are becoming more and more obvious. Online casinos make money in a few ways, the most important being, of course, by taking bets on sports, poker, and other events. Another way to make money is to take bets on tournaments and prizes and turn over every cent to the winners. So, it is no wonder that major tournaments are playing a major role in the online gambling industry.

Millions of people around the world enjoyed the first week of the 2016 World Series of Poker, as the event began to unfold at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. There were over 2,331 players from more than 95 countries who signed up and competed for the $1,000,000 Guaranteed Championship and the $50,000 High Roller Super High Rollers.

The first week of the WSOP schedule is officially over, and the second week is quickly moving to the top. This week is all about the $1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. The first 1,000 players to register will receive the first piece of gold to cross the finish line.

The opening weekend of the World Series of Poker Online concluded with the presentation of four new gold bracelets. WSOP.com began the series on July 1, with one event per day until July 1. August.

Manig Ohio77 Loeser from Germany was one of the winners of the weekend. Renowned professionals were also present at the fair and were also looking for equipment. Players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Michael Galliano and Andrew Lichtenberger all won over the weekend.

Event 1: BIG $500 NLHE Kick-Off (July 1)

Jose Deposit Noboa of New Jersey won his first bracelet of the summer. Thursday night he defeated Christopher Basile28 Basile in a showdown for the title.

Noboa, a native of North Bergen, N.J., won $105,161 after 12 hours of play on opening night. Noboa seems to be having a lot of luck in the opening tournament. He finished 21st in the opening event of the 2020 WSOP.com for $3,936.

Prior to Thursday’s tournament, Noboa had $39,341 in WSOP prizes. This is his first six-figure score.

The other participants at the final table were Shannon Aulophobia Schorr and Michael ParxBigStax Marder. BigStax spoke with USPoker about his disappointing final table performance.

Sure, it’s disappointing to get a cooler on the second hand of the final table, said Marder, a poker player from Sewell, N.J. But you can’t pass up the chance to relax on the couch at home and play for six figures and a bracelet.

Event 2: $600 NLHE Monster Stack (July 2)

Manig Ohio77 Loeser finally made it and won his first bracelet. He had previously finished second twice and third three times in the fork races.

On Friday night, he defeated 1,038 players to win $104,313 and a bracelet. Although this is his first bracelet, Loser is a seasoned veteran with over $11 million in tournament winnings.

Twitch streamer Justin LappyPoker Lappy was also successful in this event, finishing in sixth place for $17,488.

Katie Luckygal Liebert is one of the other well-known names that have done well. She didn’t make the final table and finished in 12th place. Place for $5,885.

Event 3: $500 NLHE Turbo Deepstack (July 3)

In just six hours, Donnell Spreezy52 Dice won his first bracelet and $90,801 in this fast-paced tournament. In the head-to-head for the championship, Deis defeated perennial tournament favorite Mike SammyTwizz Azzaro.

Hellmuth plays in the series from the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, and he also competed in the World Poker Tour Venetian over the weekend. He took the time to give players some interesting practical tips when playing so much online poker.

The Super Turbo event lasted just under six hours, making it the shortest event in the series.
