Global Gaming Women (GGW), a not-for-profit organization that empowers women to break into the gaming industry, is proud to announce that Cassie Stratford has been elected as their new president. Ms. Stratford joins GGW from Caesars Entertainment, where she served as vice president of marketing and brand management. Her responsibilities included managing a team of over 200 analysts and marketing specialists, as well as leading the marketing efforts for the company’s portfolio of gaming properties, including the Venetian, Palazzo, and The Cromwell.
The world of women’s professional gaming is changing. Cassie Stratford is the newest addition to the organization, which she currently serves as the President of. The new position formally recognizes her as the first woman to hold the role. “Cassie is a truly talented and innovative leader,” said Executive Director David Goldstein. “She has been an integral part of the global gaming community for years, and we are thrilled to have her join our Executive Board.”
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (5 AUGUST 2021) – Cassie Stratford has been chosen as the incoming board president of Global Gaming Women (GGW) by the Board of Directors, and will begin her tenure in July 2021. She now works at Boyd Gaming Corporation as Vice President of Legal Affairs and Assistant General Counsel.

GGW has members in 42 states and 12 countries, with 21 percent of front-line supervisors and managers, 30 percent of supervisors and managers, 25 percent of directors, and 25 percent of vice presidents and above. Development programs now incorporate Lean-In circles and virtual masterclasses in addition to conventional courses.
