The Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation will be the first jurisdiction in Canada to offer single-event betting. This is a major step for the province, as it moves from offering just sports betting on this ground breaking technology.
The “single-game betting ontario” is a new service coming to Nova Scotia. The province will be offering single-event betting for the first time in Canada.
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation has some fantastic news in store for gaming fans in Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia becomes the first Atlantic jurisdiction to permit single-event wagering after years of being the only one. The province will add the new option into its services beginning Friday, February 11, 2022, enabling gamblers to bet on Sunday’s Super Bowl.
On August 27, 2021, the Federal Government of Canada approved single-event betting, enabling provincial lotteries to govern the offering as they see fit. Prior to that, Canadian gamblers couldn’t bet on single athletic events like the Super Bowl or the Grey Cup because they had to put their wagers in parlays, which restricted their betting possibilities.
Prepared for Publication
After years of anticipation, Nova Scotian gamblers will be able to make their bets on the Super Bowl event itself. The ALC has now stated that the province, which was the last to allow single-game betting, will now join the others and offer the product to its population of about a million people through the Pro•Line sports betting platform.
Nova Scotia took its time launching single-event betting since the province was holding provincial elections around the time of the country’s formal authorization. Although the new Conservative administration had more pressing concerns, the review of sports betting regulations has finally come. The Pro•Line brand is currently the only regulated company that will market the new product.
The Crown agency is happy to finally provide this new sports wagering experience to Nova Scotia gamblers in both retail and online form, according to ALC Communications Strategist Greg Weston. He claims that by distributing the product under the Pro•Line brand, the Crown will be able to preserve sports betting money in the province while also providing residents with safe and regulated gaming.
The news could not have come at a better time, since the Los Angeles Rams will meet the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl on Sunday. The sportsbook, which will provide more than 30 prop bets and regular betting lines, is expected to witness a record-breaking betting volume, according to ALC’s Sports Betting Manager Scott Eagles.
Providing Content That Is Up To Date
The Atlantic League of Clubs is working hard to bring new gaming content to its numerous members in the Atlantic area. The Crown agency’s partnership with Everi Holdings Inc. and its subsidiary Everi Digital is an example of this. The Crown has gained access to a number of premium iGaming games from Everi Digital’s excellent catalog as a result of this partnership, which was signed in December of last year.
In addition, the ALC secured a new content distribution arrangement with NeoPollard Interactive in January of this year. This contract is for the next five years, with the option to extend it. NeoPollard will provide the Crown entity with market-proven and award-winning digital products from its Neo Games Studio collection throughout that period.
