PokerStars is returning with some more major tournaments in each state, after the Championship of Online Poker Series (COOP) in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Pennsyl-MANIA, as well as the New Jersey and Michigan Classics, return in October. All three events have a $300 buy-in and will take place on Oct. 24. For tournaments in all three states, players may expect to win a total of $700,000 in guaranteed prize money.

Now is the time to claim your $50 at PokerStars.

For one-day events, there are a lot of guarantees.

The three events expand on the COOP series by providing participants with a large tournament that takes place simultaneously in each state. Here’s a breakdown of the three guarantees:

  • $350,000 – Pennsyl-MANIA
  • $250,000 Michigan Classic
  • The New Jersey Classic is a $100,000 tournament held in New Jersey.

All three jurisdictions have “ringed-in” poker markets, which means that players may only compete against people from their own state. Satellites for all three tournaments are already started, and they start at only $15.

After depositing $30, players may also qualify for tickets by playing $3 Spin & Go games. Winners of the Spin & Go tournament will be entered into a depositor freeroll on October 24th, with a prize pool of $15,000 in tickets.

The COOP series has a high rating.

The three events follow the COOP series that took place in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan in September. The series offered $4.5 million in guarantees across all three states.

The rewards, however, were far higher, with a total of $5.27 million going to participants. Players in Pennsylvania earned $2.4 million, with Hondoribbia taking home the championship trophy and winning the main event for $36,401.

The main event had a prize pool of more than $238,000, which was the most in the series. Over 25,000 people registered for the 69-event PACOOP.

161joe161, JesusTrackTeamC, TheBigSlick74, MasterOf0ne, LetMeWin3437, and SDotRog were among the PACOOP participants that won trophy tournaments.

Several players, including two-time champions anachronismKB, Blivot, dubbadell, fubadbeatbob, and FuglyFunGuy, won numerous times. Each of Superdonkeydave and TheBigSlick74 took home three prizes.

Mark “NaigoPA” Foresta, a PokerStars PA ambassador, finished fourth out of four tables with one runner-up result. Keith “whoopsboom” Becker came in third place in another event.

More people win a lot of money.

The MICOOP in Michigan paid out $1.8 million, with WadeDavenport taking up $31,000 in the main event. The tournament had a prize fund of $176,960, and the series had over 18,000 participants in 68 events.

Along with Pillzebub, PimpMyBalance, TWOsl0w4u, and Meatballs9000, WadeDavenport took home a MICOOP championship trophy. Corgasm231 took home two MICOOP trophies and three events in all. BishPlz94 also won three tournaments in a row.

Meatballs9000 took home the trophy after winning four events, including the last two in the season. 248donkey, atokorekt, ChipzNCheeze, grandma1967, PowerRanges, and WadeDavenport all took home two championships.

COOP tournaments in New Jersey drew almost 10,000 participants, with prize pools totaling slightly over $1.1 million. Sri100k took home $18,600 and an NJCOOP trophy in the main event.

Monkeyman067, kyleorto86, Stonniepokes, MisAnnthr0pe, ISlowRollYou, and wxg1989.com were among the other trophy winners.

Four of them were multi-award winners. MisAnnthr0pe won three events, while Kyleortor86, Stonniepokes, and monkeymak067 each won two.

AvaGray, [email protected], iFoldN0T, loxonbagel, and Tagubhai each won two championships, while cncly1314 won three.
