WSOP.com is proud to announce the $1.6 Million Guaranteed Online Circuit Series for the summer of 2016. This is the third year of the Circuit Series and a total of $4.5 Million has been guaranteed. The $1.6 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool has attracted a lot of media attention and the Summer Season is going to be the most successful one to date.

For one week, starting on May 24th, WSOP.com will be streaming a new online poker tournament series on its network. First, we have the $1.6 million guaranteed series, which will feature a massive $75 buy-in.

Usually at this time of year, poker players are at the beginning of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Gamers looking for hardware go online, as the series now takes place in the fall. The WSOP Circuit Tour is also a little different this year, but there are still events every month. WSOP.com kicks off the month of June with the online Summer Super Tournament, which runs from June 10 through June 27. The June races. Players can compete for 18 gold championship rings and $1.6 million in guaranteed prizes. The events are available to players in New Jersey and Nevada on WSOP.com.

WSOP.com Summer Series Highlights

The Summer Super Tournament features a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event on the 27th. June will be held and costs $525. All Summer Circuit events are No Limit Hold’em, with the exception of two Omaha tournaments. Other highlights include:

  • 215 Monster Stack (Event 4, June 13) – $125,000 Guaranteed
  • 500 Pot Limit Omaha BIG (Event 5, 14. June – $50,000 guaranteed
  • 320 Double Stack (Event 10, June 19) – $100,000 Guaranteed
  • 2,000 Six-Max Super High Roller (Event 13, June 22) – $100,000 Guaranteed
  • 5,300 Ultra High Roller (Event 17, June 26) – $100,000 Guaranteed

The rumors are swirling, but no WSOP Circuit events have been confirmed yet this year.  WSOP.com Online Circuit events remain the only option each month for now.

Monthly management fee still to be played

WSOP.com is sticking to a $10,000 monthly payout for each online series. The top 10 grinders from each month win tickets to WSOP.com tournaments. The winner will also receive a seat to the WSOP Online Circuit Championship event with a $250,000 guarantee at the end of the year. This tournament is scheduled for December 28 and will reward the champion with a WSOP gold bracelet. Players qualify for the championship by winning:

  • Golden Ring event
  • Player of the Month Ranking ($10,000)
  • Second Chance Freeroll

Players also qualify for the tournament if they are in the top 50 of the combined rankings. The top five players are currently in the overall standings:

WSOP May Online Circuit Winner

In May, 12 championship rings were awarded at the Caesars Atlantic City Online Circuit tournament. Inline grinders continue to come on the market en masse, trying to get at least one ring. Anthony Flawlessbink Mayo won his third ring in the $525 Monster Stack event for $36,231. Romain terrrr1 Daniel Buzgon recently won his eighth WSOP Circuit ring. word-image-940 Lottie won the $300 Free Knockout and took home her second ring and $14,711. Elsewhere, Daniel Chan won the fourth ring for $23,187 in the $300 Monster Stack event. Stanley stanman420 Lee grabbed his second ring and $22,240 after winning the $320 Double Stack event. New Jersey’s Daniel Juice Buzgon remains the king of the hill in the year-end rankings. He got his eighth ring in the $500 Big PLO tournament for $12,936. Buzgon has had some competition in New Jersey lately, as Ryan Dodd shows he’s no isolated phenomenon. Dodd has been collecting rings for months. The 25th. May won the $2,000 high roller event for $51,267. In April, Dodd increased his bankroll by winning the $320 Main Event with a prize pool of $51,300. I’ve never won at a high roller before, so it was nice to win twice in just three days, Dodd told USPoker. The day before, Dodd also won a tournament at Borgata Poker. USPoker recently spoke with Dodd about his current playing habits.

WSOP.com offers big money forfreerolls

All winners of the Summer Circuit event in June will qualify for the $25,000 Freeroll on June 30. June. Those who finish in the top ten of the monthly leaderboard will also be eligible to participate in the freeroll. Also on the 30th. June WSOP.com is holding a Second Chance Freeroll for players who have played in at least three June tournaments. The winner of the tournament wins a seat in the $250,000 online tournament.

Main series is coming up

This series will be followed by the online WSOP, which will take place from 1. July to 1. There will be 33 online tournaments for the gold bracelets in August. The series hopes to fill the void of the usual summer action movies. GGPoker will be played from 1. August to 12. The summer bracelet tournaments for international players will be held again in September. The WSOP.com Summer Circuit in July is next on the WSOPC calendar. Players can expect 12 round robin tournaments from the 16th through the 27th. July. World Series officials announced in April that the annual series would be held in Las Vegas this fall.
