WPTDeepStacks Oklahoma has announced a new stop.

For the first time, the DeepStacks tour will visit Choctaw from October 27 to November 8. This is the first time the resort, which is a frequent stop on the WPT Main Tour, has hosted a WPTDS tournament.

The $1,100 Main Event will take place Nov. 5-8, and there will be many additional side events to choose from. Choctaw held its inaugural Main Tour event in Season XIV, with the most recent one taking place in July.

Dapo Ajayi won $558,610 in the event, beating out a field of 964 competitors. The prize pool of $3.3 million comfortably surpassed the $1 million guarantee.

WPT global tour management senior director Cathy Zhao stated in a press release that “poker players have traditionally come out in force for our WPT Main Tour stops in Choctaw.” “We’re thrilled to introduce the WPTDeepStacks brand to the resort and offer poker players of all bankroll levels the chance to experience the facility and a world-class tournament product,” says the company.

The Main Event winner will also get a $3,000 package for the $2,500 WPTDeepStacks Championship at the conclusion of the season. The $1 million guarantee tournament takes place from December 4 to 7 at Thunder Valley Casino in California.

There are a couple more WPT tournaments on the horizon. The Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open, a $3,500 tournament with a $2 million guarantee, will take place from November 26 to December 1. The Bellagio will also host the $10,400 Five Diamond World Poker Classic from December 15 to 19.

New WPT episodes have begun to broadcast.

On Sunday, the WPT started broadcasting fresh programs in addition to a new live event. Beginning with the Gardens Poker Championship final table, viewers may watch Season XVIII action on Bally Sports.

The six players vying for a piece of the $2.5 million prize pool are Chance Kornuth, Qing Liu, and Markus Gonsalves. The Gardens event started in January 2020, with the final table set for March 2020 at the HyperX Esports Arena. The worldwide epidemic caused a postponement of the final table shooting until March 2021.

“Our fans have waited patiently for the Season XVIII episodes, and we are looking forward to Sunday night,” said tour CEO Adam Pliska. “The Season XVIII action promises to live up to our audience’s expectations.”

The commentators, Vince Van Patten and Tony Dunst, are back in the studio to call all of the action. Lynn Gilmartin will return to anchor the show.

Three hour-long segments make up The Gardens Championship. This is the first of four final tables that will continue till December 19.

In most areas, episodes broadcast between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time, with repeats throughout the week. The following competitions will be held in the near future:

  • Winter Poker Open at Borgata
  • The LA Poker Classic is an annual poker tournament held in Los Angeles
  • Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown is a poker tournament held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and
